Oscar and his journey

Well what a journey Oscar has has had, after attacking the dog he lived with the, the owner kicked him out and it was left to the neighbours to feed him, I believe he was a straying for almost a year and then he came to the Ark.

 What a frightened soul he was, rigid when you stroked him. Even though he was fed regularly, he still felt the need to rummage through the bin and get the pouches out of the bin and lick them clean. Old habits die hard, this chap had taught himself how to survive. After a few months of him being here he came to the conclusion, I was ok, I fed him, never hurt him and respected his need for space. Then he found his voice, he liked his little Kingdom, albeit a cat pen but it was his, his bed, his food and his space and woe betide any cat that came near lol. A lovely home was found for him, in fact perfect for him, no other cats, so just him to adore :) 

This lovely couple have just bought their first home and today have been to collect him. 

Every animal that comes to the Ark is special but the ones that come with such a sad tale, well they are etched in your heart forever. As soon as I read about Oscar and his plight, I so wanted to help him. So a sad farewell but a very happy new beginning for Oscar. Be forever happy and may you never go hungry again beautiful soul X X X
